A production cel from the Nepenthe Studios animated cult classic "Watership Down" (1978). Featuring Fiver, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The image appears at about 52:46 when Blackberry and Dandelion tell Fiver that Hazel has died, but Hazel steps forward and says “No.” Measuring 10.5”x13” overall, with the character image measuring 5”x2.75”, the cel is in very good condition with minor edge and corner wear. The cel is paired with a color printed background for presentation purposes.
