ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITIES

Our Customer Service Specialist position involves being immersed in day to day sales operations, and assisting all customers while they are in our gallery. You will be aware of customers' questions and interests, making their needs the top priority while they are enjoying our collection. Customer contact information should be collected for all interested guests, so that they receive correspondence about future offerings and events, as well as their specific collecting interests. Organization of the displayed collection throughout the day and cleaning the gallery will also be responsibilities. Other activities will include assisting with restocking and merchandising the floor, answering sales questions via phone and email, processing online orders, and maintaining accurate customer and inventory records.

Our Content Researcher and Writer position involves writing accurate information and internet sleuthing. Utilizing a variety of physical and digital resources, you will spend your days scouring for hard to find facts and information to educate collectors on each unique piece that the gallery acquires. You will be responsible for accurate descriptions that are also compelling and interesting. Developing consistent descriptions in an efficient and fast manner will be of the utmost importance. Other responsibilities will include assisting with gallery cleaning and gallery events.

Our Online Content Coordinator position involves managing the website and email presence of the gallery. Editing and proofing descriptions prior to publication, pushing artwork releases online, uploading auction offerings, building emails, and maintaining publicly available gallery information will be the core components of this position. Being aware of website and inventory adjustments to ensure accurate online offerings will be crucial with a large database of inventory and customer information to manage. Creating other long form online content such as release videos or blog posts could become future job roles. Other responsibilities will include assisting with gallery cleaning and gallery events.

We host a robust website that generates most of our sales and customer activity. As such, we pride ourselves in providing fast and efficient service, including communication, shipping, and follow up. It is essential that our team members are organized, driven to succeed, self-motivated, friendly, good humored, and fast learners. Being a bit nerdy (especially about animation and Disneyland) doesn’t hurt either! Occasionally, other responsibilities may be asked of this job as well, in order to assist in other gallery operations. This could include bagging or labeling artwork for upcoming events, wrapping and packing artwork, light duty lifting, event participation, pinball tournaments, taste testing delicious and unique foods, and coffee drinking.

Previous experience that is strongly recommended for aspects these jobs:

-Previous face to face sales and customer service experience.
-Basic understanding of online sales.
-Previous experience working with a point of sales program.
-Friendly disposition with strong communication skills.
-Computer skills with File Maker, Google Apps Suite, Photoshop, Data Processing, Chrome.
-Strong writing skills.
-Strong research skills.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-Must know your cartoon characters.
