An original production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series, "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring D'Ken holding Lilandra captive, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled "Phoenix Saga Part 5: Child of Light," which aired on September 9, 1994. Measuring 12"x16.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.25"x8.5", the cel is in very good condition with a small amount of paper residue around Lilandra and the peg holes trimmed and reattached during production. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for display purposes.
