A pair of layout drawings from the Warner Bros. Studios production "Batman: The Animated Series" (1992-2001). Featuring illustrations of Batman and Robin in the Batmobile, and a background layout for the television store, the graphite and color pencil drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The imagery was created for the second episode of season one, titled "Christmas with the Joker," which aired on November 13, 1992. The episode was the introduction to the Joker in the series. Measuring 10.5"x25" and 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the imagery itself measuring 3"x13" and 5"x9", the drawings are in very good condition with minor discoloration, graphite smudges, edge and corner wear, edge tattering, and a crease across the longer sheet from storage.
