A pair of original production drawings from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Fantasia (1940). Featuring the Chernabog and his demons from the Night on Bald Mountain segment, the drawings were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The matching drawings exemplify the layering technique used to add the visual special effects to the Chernabog. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" each, with images measuring 5"x5.5" and 4"x11.5", the production drawings are in very good condition with edge wear that was taped by the studio as well as page wrinkling. One image shown is a photoshop composite of the two drawings layered as they would have been seen in the film.
