Euro Disney Opening Commemorative Medallion - ID: mayeurodisney19050

This is a commemorative metal medallion that was produced for the 1992 grand opening of Euro Disney and distributed to cast members. The coin measures 1.5" x 1.5" x .125" and is in excellent condition, still attached to the presentation card that it was sent in. This one was likely a sample created within the company and was not distributed to a cast member. One side reads "Euro Disney Resort Paris" in front of Paris' castle and the reverse is not seen as it is attached to the card but features the Sorcerer Mickey surrounded by French and English writing that reads, "Grand Opening April 12, 1992/The Sun Never Sets on Disney Magic." Both sides are very well detailed with three dimensional relief imagery. The coin is accompanied by the original letter that was also distributed to cast and crew with the commemorative medallion.
