A production cel from the Nepenthe Studios animated cult classic "Watership Down" (1978). Featuring Hazel, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The image appears at about 39:03 when Hazel listens for the sound that Bigwig believes is the Black Rabbit of Inle. Measuring 10.5”x13” overall, with the character image measuring 6.5”x5”, the cel is in very good condition with minor edge and corner wear. The cel is paired with a color printed background for presentation purposes.
