This is a printer's masking negative used to develop a Mickey Mouse poster, likely for merchandising. This negative is likely from the late 1970s or early 1980s, and features imagery of an early studio animation model sheet for Mickey Mouse. The masking negative would have been used in the creation of a screen for silk screening the print's image, and there is black masking fluid on positive side of negative, as is typical to ensure a clean mask is created. There is also a piece of orange paper attached to the positive side of the negative with a hole cut into it and a notation of "75%" in the lower right corner, signifying the size change desired during printing. The piece measures 20" x 24" overall with the image measuring 14" x 18.5".
