"Unlock the Magic!" A vintage cast member invitation celebrating the opening of New Fantasyland. Attached to the formal invitation is a metal key engraved with "New Fantasyland 1983 opening.", and featuring a carving of Sleeping Beauty Castle as the handle. Fantasyland reopened in 1983 from a large overhaul and expansion of the popular land. Imagineers moved some attractions to make more room for guests and updated the ride facades to a more realistic yet still fairy tale inspired European village. The invitation measures 9.5"x7.25", they key measures 2.25"x6.25", and the piece is in fine condition with some wear to the opening of the envelope where it was previously sealed.
