This is an original stock production cel set-up from the Hanna Barbera Studios production of Laff-A-Lympics (1977-1979). This set-up features the majority of the Yogi Yahooeys team, and was created at the studio and used during production. Stock footage cels like these are created once with the intention of being used repeatedly during production. Based on the premise of the show being various athletic competitions, they could use these stock set-ups for each event, removing the character(s) competing in the particular event and leaving his teammates to cheer him on. The overall measurements of the piece are 10.5" x 12.5" and the image itself measures 5.75" x 9.5" and is paired with a color copy reproduction background. This piece was exhibited at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA for their 2017 exhibit, "Hanna Barbera: The Architects of Saturday Morning."
