A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated film “Bambi” (1942). Featuring the main deer in the film including Bambi, Bambi's Mother, Faline, and Faline’s Mother, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 9.75”x11.5”, the model sheet is in very good condition with discoloration from age, light edge wear, and a vertical crease along the right edge.
