A multi-layer production cel from the Disney Studio animated film “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” (1983). Featuring Goofy as the Ghost of Jacob Marley, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 12.5”x16” overall, with a character image size of 7.5”x6.25”, the cel is in good condition, laminated by the studio, with scratches, paint lifting and a crack to the Goofy layer, an air bubble between the celluloid and laminate, paint lifting throughout the chain layer with tape along the top edge, and bubbles to the reverse. The cel is presented with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
