An employee exclusive limited edition cel from Walt Disney's “Lilo & Stitch.” At the end of production, employees were given a choice from 8 key scenes in the film to have a cel created in the Studio's Ink and Paint department using the film's original drawings. Beginning with the 1991 animated feature “Beauty and the Beast, ” Disney's films were produced with the digital CAPS process, not cels. The limited editions created for recent films are a true rarity, capturing the traditional beauty of the hand-painted cel technique from the Studio. This cel recreates Sequence 4 Scene 31.3, as Lilo hula dances with a group of friends, and was chosen by only 19 employees, with this piece numbered 11 out of the very limited production. The cel has an image size of 9.5”x13.5” on the 12.5”x17” cel, and is paired with a scene matching print background. The piece is in very good condition with light handling wear.
