A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Wolverine after breaking into the mutant detention facility, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the pilot episode "Night of the Sentinels, Part 1," which aired on October 31, 1992. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7"x7", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, including scratches, minimal black line fade, damage to the lower right corner, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
