An amazing original production drawing from the Disney Studios animated musical film "Fantasia" (1940). Featuring one of the young centaurettes from the "Pastoral Symphony" segment, the graphite drawing was created at the studio by renowned character designer and Disney Legend Fred Moore, and used during the animation process. Moore imbued his charm and wit into every project he supervised at the Disney Studios and the Pastoral Symphony is no exception. His drawings are highly sought after for his unique draftsmanship of the human form, and prominent characters such as this are rarely available. Measuring 12.5"x15.5" overall and with an image area measuring 9"x5", the production drawing is in fine condition with light edge wear, including a .5" tear on the right edge, as well as discoloration due to tape on back side of top left corner.
