An original production cel from the Walt Disney animated film Robin Hood (1973). Featuring a great image of the Sheriff of Nottingham, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during production. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. Measuring 12.5"x16" overall, with an image area measuring 8"x5", the cel is in very good condition with light rippling to the cel's surface. The piece went through Disney's art program, as is evidenced by the seal in the corner, and was laminated by the studio as was their practice at the time. It has also been paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
