An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Ferdinand the Bull (1938). Featuring young Ferdinand and his mother, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The setup was prepared with the characters trimmed to image and applied to a custom background, a standard setup the studio prepared for Courvoisier Galleries. Measuring 12"x14" framed with the mat opening measuring 7"x9", and with the image area measuring 5.75"x6.75", the trimmed production cel is in very good condition with some adhesive showing around the edges of the cel layers, unexamined out of frame.
