This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production The Little Mermaid (1989). This hand-painted cel features an upset looking Sebastian the crab. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel is paired with a photographic copied reproduction background, a studio seal, and has been professionally matted with a plaque. The overall measurements of the piece are 16.75" x 22.25" matted with the mat opening measuring 10" x 15" and the image itself measures 5.25" x 2.75". The production cel is in excellent condition.
