An original production background from a Disney Studios 1940's wartime film. Featuring a gorgeous rendering of a winding road partially illuminated by a brilliant sunset, the hand-painted background was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents a frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 9.5"x14.75" overall, with the image itself measuring 8.25"x12.5", the background is in very good condition with page discoloration, edge and corner wear, and tape adhesive residue.
