This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). This hand-painted cel features an absolutely lovely image of Snow White glancing up to admire the birds flying about her. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. This piece was originally prepared for sale at the Courvoisier Galleries with the cel being trimmed to image and applied to a custom airbrushed background. The overall measurements of the piece are 19.75" x 18.75" framed with the mat opening measuring 9" x 9.5" and the image itself measures 6" x 4.75". The cel is in very good condition for its age.
