This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production of Fantasia (1940). This stunning hand painted cel features one of the young baby pegasus flying from the Pastoral Symphony sequence, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the beloved classic. This particular cel was trimmed to image and applied to a custom water color background, as it was prepared by the studio for the Courvoisier Galleries. The overall measurements of the piece are 13.25" x 10.25" framed with the mat opening measuring 6" x 5.25" and the image itself measures 2.25" x 2.75". The cel is in good condition and is an absolutely splendid artifact from the beloved classic.
