An original model sheet from the Walter Lantz animated Woody Woodpecker short "Calling All Cuckoos" (1956). Featuring several fantastic illustrations of a German clockmaker, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Original model drawings are photocopied at the studio and the copies are distributed to ensure character consistency among animators. The one-of-a-kind originals are much rarer than their photocopied counterparts. Measuring 9.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9"x11.5", the model sheet is in good condition with wrinkles and creases across top edge, light page wear throughout, and tape stains on the top edge.
