Sleeping Beauty Production Cel - ID: marsleeping20064

This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production Sleeping Beauty (1959). The hand-painted cel features Briar Rose and two of the woodland birds. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The overall measurements of the piece are 16" x 18" matted with the mat opening measuring 9.5" x 12". The cels measure 12.5" x 16" with the image of Briar Rose measuring 6" x 3" and the birds are each about 1" tall. The production cel is in very good condition and consists of 4 cel layers and a color copy reproduction background.
