This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production of The Great Mouse Detective (1986). This hand-painted cel features Ratigan's goons celebrating after he overthrows the Queen, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. The overall measurements of the piece are 11.5" x 16" and the painted image area measures 5" x 10". The cel is in very good condition and is partially stuck to the copy background from the film that it is paired with.
