This is an original hand-painted production cel featuring the Native Chief from the Walt Disney Studios classic animated feature Peter Pan (1953). The cel features a great full body image of the Chief with his hands held high, and was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film.The cel measures 12.5" x 16" overall with the image of the Chief measuring 9.5" x 6.5". The cel is in good condition with wear to the edges, including some torn pieces of cel missing from the corners, and there are also some vertical ripples and creases in the cel, but nothing that affects the character's image.
