An original hand-drawn shee ot model drawings from the UPA Studios animated film 1001 Arabian Nights (1959). Featuring Bowzir and other seemingly random cats, the model drawing sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece would have been photographed and reproducedto make photostat model sheets for animators. The typical manner of creating these original model sheets entailed creating separate drawings that were trimmed and applied to a new sheet, displaying just the best images to created the character's standards. It's rare to find these older model sheets still in good condition with the individual drawings attached. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, and with an image area measuring 9.75"x12.25", the model drawing is in good condition condition with some edge wear and expected discoloration from adhesive.
