Peace on Earth Title Card and Background - ID: janmgm5004

A very rare, original title card cel and production background from the MGM Studios animated short "Peace on Earth" (1939). Featuring a stunning image of the title poking through a cloudy sky, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Measuring 16"x18.5" framed, with the mat opening measuring 9.5"x12", and the image itself measuring 9.5"x12", the piece is in excellent condition and real piece of animation history!
