MGM Cartoon Carnival Title Card - ID: maymgm7720

An original title card cel and background from the MGM Studios animated film "Cartoon Carnival" (1959). Featuring a fabulous image of a monkey riding an elephant used in the title credits, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and use during the animation process of the film. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears at the beginning of the cartoon. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7"x10", the piece is in very good condition with very minor wear.
