An original layout drawing from the Hanna Barbera Studios animated series, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!" Featuring an extremely spooky seaside cave, the layout drawing was created at the studio by prolific animator Bob Singer, and used during the animation process. The final product can be seen in the episode entitled "A Night of Fright is No Delight" which aired in 1970. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, the layout drawing is in good condition with edge wear on top, the top left corner curled and slightly torn, peg hole wear at bottom repaired with tape, wrinkling on right edge, and small tattering and tearing. The piece is signed by the artist in the lower left corner, just above an identification note reading "What a Night for a Fright."
The drawing comes from Bob Singer's personal collection. The piece is only available for a limited time in conjunction with our April 2023 event, "An Afternoon with Bob Singer." Bob has shared a special collection of his personal artwork for the event, consisting of production layout drawings, book illustration drawings, limited edition concept art, and personal drawings. The collection spans the decades of work created by Singer.
