A beautiful background color concept from Don Bluth Productions film Rock-A-Doodle (1992). Featuring Hunch quietly escaping the side of Chanticleer's performance, the concept painting was created and used during the animation process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but also as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 5"x10.5" overall with the image area measuring 4.75"x10", the background concept is in very good condition with some light edge wear.
