An original background color key concept from the Don Bluth Productions animated film The Land Before Time (1988). Featuring Littlefoot and Cera trying to escape the attack of Sharptooth, the concept painting was created at the studio and used during the development process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but he also used these panels as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 3.75"x5.75" overall, and with the image area measuring 3.5"x5.5", the background color key concept is in very good condition with minor edge wear and a pin hole in the top center of the board.
