Featuring Linus holding his iconic comfort blanket, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The drawing is a small sketch of Linus that is hand-drawn and signed by the creator of “Peanuts,” Charles Schulz. Measuring 19”x17” matted, the mat has openings measuring 7”x11.5” for the cel and 5”x4.25” for the sketch. The character image measures 3.25”x2.5” on the cel and 4.25”x3.5” on the sketch. The piece is in very good condition unexamined out of the mat and the cel is paired with a printed reproduction background.
