An original production cel from the Bagdasarian Studios animated series "The Alvin Show" (1961-1962). Featuring a charming image of Simon dressed as a sailor, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" musical segment of the episode titled "Jungle Rhythm" which aired on December 20, 1961. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x3", the cel is in very good condition with a small black mark towards the bottom right corner and some paint loss on Simon's neckerchief.
