This is an original background color concept from the Walt Disney Studios production of Song of the South (1946). This concept painting features a lovely study of a country setting and was created at the studio and used during the production of the film. This particular concept was created by Disney Legend, Mary Blair, and even a simplified painting like this shows the masterful color usage Mary was so known for. The overall measurements of the piece are 6" x 12" and the image itself measures 4" x 11.75". The piece is in very good condition.
