This is a wonderful vintage cookie jar based on the Walt Disney Studios animated feature, Pinocchio (1940). The adorable jar features Pinocchio's head and is absolutely adorable. The jar opens at the hat, which completely removes from Pinocchio's head. This jar was made by Metlox in the early 1940s and it appears that the jars have slightly different hand painted details from jar to jar. This jar is in fair condition with some cracks and chips in rim of his hat and some worn paint. The jar measures about 11" x 8" x 8".
