This is a rare original production background from the Walt Disney Studios production of the Donald Duck short, Donald's Better Self (1938). This stunning hand-painted background features a lovely image of a country street with a tree on one side and a wooden fence on the other, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the Donald Duck short. This is from the scene right after Donald find's his anti-conscience in the mailbox, and they watch his conscience continue along this path away from them. The overall measurements of the piece are 10" x 12" and the image itself measures 8.25" x 11". The background is in excellent condition with a protective cel overlay attached along the bottom edge with a couple staples.
