This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production of a 1960s Disney TV production. This cel features Jose Carioca in a classic pose with his cigar in beak, and was created at the studio and used during production. The overall measurements of the piece are 12" x 14" matted with a 8" x 10" opening, and the image itself measures 4.5" x 4.5". This cel was originally prepared for sale by the studio for the Disneyland Art Corner store, and features the standard Art Corner style set-up with a slightly trimmed cel that measures 10" x 12", a color copy reproduction background, and a paper mat with gold foil sticker on reverse. This mat was also inscribed with a witty comment regarding Jose's pose.
