This is a copy of the Winter 1956 issue of Mickey Mouse Club Magazine and is the first release of the magazine, labeled as Volume 1 Number 1. The magazine measures about 11.5" x 8.25" and was printed by Western Printing & Lithography, Poughkeepsie, New York 1956. There are 44 pages in total that features color and black/white photographs. The cover photo shows the main cast who would perform the roll call during the earliest Talent Round-Up Days, recognized as the Red Team. The very first article in the magazine even focuses on the cast members with a story titled "Meet The Mouseketeers". This story goes into detail about twenty-four of the Mouseketeers who were originally hired, out of twenty-eight total. Ironically, by the time this first copy of the magazine reached subscribers, many of the Mouseketeers who were featured in the magazine were no longer on the show, including four of the featured Mouseketeers on the cover. This inaugural edition featured no advertisements other than promoting the subscription to the magazine itself! This copy is in very good condition with minimal wear.
