An original production drawing from the Disney Studios animated Silly Symphony short, "Moth and the Flame" (1938). Featuring an excellent rendering of the Flame, the graphite and colored pencil drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The Flame was colored at the studio and noted with color names and codes to assist the ink and paint department with consistency. Measuring 10"x12" overall, with the character image measuring 6"x2.5", the drawing is in very good condition with minor page discoloration, edge and corner wear due to age and handling.
