“The Fox and the Hound” Tod Production Cel (1981) - ID: jul26165

A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). Featuring Tod pulling up a stick while fishing, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 19.25”x23.5” framed with mat opening measuring 10.5”x13.5”, and the character image measuring 7.75”x13”, the cel is in very good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. The cel appears to have been laminated by the studio for distribution and exhibits slight line fade, possibly some minor lamination-related damage, it’s paired with a color printed reproduction background, and there’s light wear to frame itself.
