A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Fox and the Hound" (1981). Featuring Copper standing over Chief, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. Measuring 17.25”X21.25” framed with mat opening measuring 10”x14”, and the character image measuring 6.75”x8”, the cel is in very good condition, unexamined outside of the frame. It appears the cel was laminated by the Studio during distribution, there is some minor discoloration from age, slight rippling, and the frame shows light wear overall.
