A matching production cel and background setup from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Storm talking to the X-Men in Jean’s hospital room, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The matching setup is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 7:14 in the season three episode "The Phoenix Saga, Part 3: The Cry of the Banshee." Measuring 10.5”x14" overall, with the painted image area measuring 8.25”x6", the setup is in very good condition with minor surface and edge wear, slight line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the cel paint from studio use and storage.
