X-Men “Whatever It Takes” Rogue, Storm, and MjNari Production Cel (1993) - ID: oct25034

A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Rogue and MjNari catching Storm after she gets rid of Shadow King, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 15:59 in the season two episode "Whatever It Takes." The setup has two cel layers that don’t match precisely. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 9.5"x10.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including scratches, light black line fade, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
