A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Beast frustratedly reminiscing over a photo album, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and is seen at about 9:35 in the season two episode "Beauty and the Beast.” Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5"x7.5", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, slight line wear, and backing paper stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The matching drawing is also included which has some surface wear and color transfer from the cel’s paint. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
