A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c.1930s). Featuring standard designs for the earliest version of Donald Duck in the 1930s, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Standard design sheets were used by animators for multiple productions during the time period. Measuring 9.5”x12” overall, with the character image measuring 8.5”x10.25”, the model sheet is in very good condition with minor discoloration, light edge wear, staple holes, pin holes, and light staining.
