The Pebble and the Penguin Color Key Concept - ID:marpebble3644

An original color key concept from the Don Bluth Studios animated film "The Pebble and the Penguin" (1995). Featuring an adorable image of Penguins swimming during the opening credits, the hand-painted concept was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The concepts are used to develop and finalize the color palette, layout of the action, and the overall feel of the scene. When a color concept is finalized during production, it becomes the reference tool that animators use to paint cels and backgrounds, as well as to further progress through the storyboarding and layout of the individual scenes. Measuring 4.75"x8.75" overall, the concept is in very good condition.
