“Beezy Bear” Donald Duck Production Cel (c.1955) - ID: mar26204

A production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated Donald Duck short “Beezy Bear“ (1955). Featuring Donald Duck looking frustrated as he tries to prevent Ranger Woodlore and Humphrey Bear from stealing his honey, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. Measuring 16”x20” matted, with the mat opening measuring 7.5”x11.5” and the character image measuring 5.5”x8.25”, the cel is in very good condition with a little bit of paint lifting in the hat and the right edge and lower right corner of the cel is roughly trimmed.
