A limited edition maquette from the Disney Studios animated film "Tarzan" (1999). Featuring a great pose of Tarzan amidst the jungle trees, this rare maquette was made as a wrap gift at the end of the film's production, exclusively as a gift for the cast and crew that worked on the film. Only 2200 of this unpainted resin statue were made (some statues were painted by the studio upon request, but are part of the same overall edition). The design of this limited edition was created from the studios original mold, used for the production maquettes, with the original sculpt by Disney artist Kent Melton. Measuring 6"x4.5" and 9.5" tall, the maquette is in very good condition, with minimal imperfections and discoloration, an area of the thin moss area has been repaired by a previous owner with glue adhesive. This maquette comes in the original box.
