A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated package film "Melody Time" (1948). Featuring several illustrations of Pecos Bill in different facial expressions and positions, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process of the "Pecos Bill" segment of the film. The model sheet is used by animators to ensure character consistency during the production process. Measuring 11"x14" overall, with the character image area measuring 9.5"x11.5", the model sheet is in very good condition with minor discoloration, rippling, and edge wear due to age and handling.
