A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring an emotional close-up of Nightcrawler as he is talking with Mystique, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season four episode "Bloodlines," which aired on October 26, 1996. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8"x10", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear, light line fade, a film-like residue on the surface, and paper stuck to the reverse from production use and storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
